Core Responsibilities
- Developing Community Strategy: Create a comprehensive community strategy that aligns with Gridsight’s mission of accelerating decarbonisation and decentralising electricity grids;
- Fostering Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key community members, including decision-makers at utility companies;
- Community Activation: Leverage the existing ad-hoc community among customers, transforming it into a more structured and energised network;
- Event Management: Organise and facilitate both virtual and in-person community events, workshops, and conferences to encourage knowledge sharing and problem-solving;
- Establishing Feedback Loops: Establish mechanisms for collecting and integrating community feedback into Gridsight’s platform and overall strategy;
- Pioneering B2B Community Concepts: Innovate in the B2B SaaS Community space – test new initiatives, learn, apply;
- Industry Engagement: Stay informed about the latest trends in climate tech, electricity distribution, and community building strategies;
- Project Execution: Execute medium-impact strategic projects across Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Marketing, with timelines ranging from 2 to 8 weeks;
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure strategic projects are aligned with overall business objectives and community needs;
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the progress and impact of strategic projects, adjusting strategies as needed.
Your Skills + Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu;
- Proven ability to conceptualise, create, and execute a comprehensive community strategy in alignment with organisational goals; experience within the B2B SaaS environment preferred;
- Deep understanding of trends in climate technology, particularly in electricity distribution and decentralisation; you’re comfortable facilitating discussions and leading initiatives around grid decentralisation and electrification challenges;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key community members and decision-makers in utility organisations; you’re experienced in organising stakeholders to engage in collaborative efforts, and have been influential in their adoption of community initiatives;
